As a dentist with over 7 years of experience, Dr. Shayan Khan believes in quality care, compassion and accentuating the importance of patient education. His ambition is to provide every patient with an environment where they can enjoy peace of mind and freedom from dental anxiety. Over the years, he has gained experience across all aspects of dentistry and is motivated to create a positive and pleasant dental experience for his patients of all ages.
Dr. Khan has spent time developing his credentials and has completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baqai Dental University in Pakistan and also completed a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from Benedictine University.
He enjoys attending continuing education courses to stay up to date with new products and technologies. He believes it helps him to provide his patients with excellent dental care and stimulate his professional development.
Outside of clinical dentistry, Dr. Khan is very passionate about taking care of his community and enriching the lives of others through the Dental Public Health initiatives. He is currently in the process of publishing two articles related to patient education and oral health.
